From Comic Colonials to National Heroes: Changing Perceptions of the Dutch in Nineteenth-Century American Art, Annette Stott, University of Denver
An illustrated lecture surveying the image of the Dutch through a century of American art. Stott is a co-editor of Going Dutch: The Dutch Presence in America, 1609-2009 (2008) and author of Holland Mania (1998). This event is supported by the Nederlandse Taalunie in connection with the Queen Wilhelmina Professorship.
